MediaGemm Prelaunch Review

Anyone who subscribes to a reading service probably knows about top competitors such as Amazon, but also smaller services such as Scribd and others. I recently had the opportunity to test a new service called MediaGemm, and see what it had to offer compared to its competition.

The first thing I noticed about MediaGemm was the layout on their site. If you have ever had a Netflix subscription, you know they have areas for recommendations, your list, the most popular movies, new additions, and more. Well, the MediaGemm website is very similar- just with books. This makes it ridiculously easy to navigate.

On top of being easy to use, their customer service team is great. I had noticed a small glitch on the website and reported it to the company via email. They responded within half an hour, and the bug was fixed in less than an hour. I was quite impressed with this.

I can also say that MediaGemm has a selection that rivals top eBook services. They have classic novels, mysteries, thrillers, and even whatever the most recent fad book is that is going around at the time. They also add more by the day, so one can only expect that their library will continue to grow.

The final thing I’d like to mention is that MediaGemm has a few different subscription options. This is good if you are someone who enjoys the occasional novel, like me, or someone who reads every book that you can get your hands on. I don’t know though, with as easy as the service is to use, I may just be able to fit a few more books into my schedule. Their syncing software allows me to open books on my tablet, smartphone, laptop- anywhere I could want. And it always opens to the page where I left off.

Coming from someone who was skeptical, I have to say this eBook and audiobook service is pretty great. I don’t know if I will be continuing my unlimited subscription, but I would at least consider the book by book option in the future.
